How I might use blogs in my classroom...

Here are a few examples of using blogs in unique ways in elementary classrooms:

• reading responses
• journal entries
• outlines for paper or projects
• ongoing blogging during a particular thematic unit
• kidblog.org (great, safe site for setting up student blogs that can only be seen within a school/class community)
• a show and share site (similar to show and tell, student's can pick a website, band, movie, etc. and post a link and a description)

Blogs can either set up for individual students or you can have a classroom blog.
